Password protected page

Can one of my pages be password protected in DW? I'm running
ver MX6.1. Thanks!Password protected page
the only way i know how to do it is on the server side. you
can put the page in a folder and then password protect the folder.
but you have to have access to the server. i use Plesk to access my
server, and then you just go into the ''directories'' and add the
folder you want to restrict. it's probably a little different if
you don't use Plesk though. if you don't have access to your
server, just ask your server admin to do it for you.

other than that, i think your only options involve php or asp
and stuff. unless someone else knows of another way.Password protected page
If that is not possible, take a look at my Password Protect 6
Extension

for DW. It might be of use.

The simplest way is to password protect a folder - Often you
don't need access to the server - you can use your host control
panel. If that's not available, contact your host and ask them to
do it for you. More complex schemes require the use of server side
scripting. DW has built in behaviors to make this easier.
you could do this with an .htaccess file also.

Search google for .htaccess
