Gradually changing the color of an...

What I want to do is to transition the color of an object to
a different color gradually. In other words, in frame 1 i have a
light gray circle. In frame 30, I have a dark gray circle. I want
to show a smooth transition from the light gray to the dark gray.
Can this be done with a motion tween?Gradually changing the color of an...
are you trying to do this only in actionscript? or on the
timeline? CS3 or flash 8 pro or MX?Gradually changing the color of an...
I guess I was just going to do it using the timeline. I am
using Mx 2004
Yes. But you need to use the same symbol for both ends of the
tween.

Select one of the instances and bring up the properties
panel. There you should see a drop down menu labeled color with a
value of none. The different choices are brightness, tint, alpha,
and advanced.

For the exact effect you want you should experiment with
different ones.
