No preview in Firefox

I am on a Mac and I downloaded Firefox, which for some reason
does not open like a normal application. It shows up as a hard
drive on my desktop. In Dreamweaver CS3 when I attempt to preview
in Firefox, nothing happens - not even an error message, just
nothing. It was an automatic download from Firefox and it did not
give me any options on where to install it.

I believe the preview in Firefox problem is specific to the
way Dreamweaver creates the URL on a Mac for Firefox. Try making
the url in Firefox the same as it is in Safari - I believe the word
''Volumes'' is left out.

I'm going to report this as a bug in DW cs3 as I've never had
any problems prior to this on DW with previewing in Firefox. For
now, all I have to do is remember to copy the url that safari gives
me when previewing and then paste that when previewing in
FF.
