Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to keep the ''next'' button
inactive on a captivate movie until the time required for the slide
has expired. For example, I do not want the end user to be able to
move forward within a movie until certain time requirements are
met. Can anyone help?
Or, if anyone has a solution to this using breeze presenter,
that would be great too.
Thanks,

You might have to clarify what you mean by ''Next,'' since
there are several ways to implement that.
If you have slides on which you want Captivate to pause until
the user clicks a ''Next'' button you have put on that slide, then
keeping them from clicking Next until ''x'' time has elapsed can only
be achieved by not displaying the ''Next'' button until that time has
elapsed.
To put it another way, if you want them to view a slide for
15 seconds before being allowed to navigate to the next slide, then
you need to adjust the timeline so that the Next button doesn't
appear until the 15-second mark.
Captivate does not offer you the ability to control whether a
button is active/inactive.
If these tips don't fit your needs, maybe you could help us
understand how you've designed your navigation (buttons; playbar;

There is one other way of doing this create two next buttons
the first one would be set up as no action and be visible from 0 up
until say 15sec. at fifteen second this next button would disappear
and a new active button would display. this is the only way it will
work.
