flash nav not happy on our site...

Hello

Been trying to place our new Flash navigation system on the
site and all kinds of problems - I manually placed it on our index
page -
http://www.enhancedwireless.net/index.html
(under the banner) - and it works fine...

BUT the rest of the pages are a server side include,
%26lt;!--#include virtual=''/nav_menu.html'' --%26gt;, and strange things
are happening - firstly on 95% of the pages the FLASH part of the
nav system either doesn't load or isn't there, only the html part
of the nav, (have a look on any page) but on this one page it does
appear and works just fine -
http://www.enhancedwireless.net/FBform.shtml

Lastly, I've no idea why any of this would affect the left
side bar navigation but on all the sub categories of the TECHNOLOGY
pages -
http://www.enhancedwireless.net/Technology/ODMA.shtml
- (see the 5 sub menus?) the text is supposed to change to blue
when you load its page, ie, click on Basic Concepts and in the menu
the ''Basic Concepts'' text should be blue - it's certainly blue on
the html in Dreamweaver - but online it stays white...this didn't
happen before I updated the nav server side include page.

What in the world?

Thanks much - I need help, newbie here....

flash nav not happy on our site...
I think you have a path problem. Your path in the pages in
the

subdirectories are calling the same file path ''TopNav.swf''.
You might try

changing this to ''/TopNav.swf'' so it will always look in a
path relative to

the root. Paths in the include are relative to the page they
come up in, not

the location of the include file.

I hope that helps,

Thanks for the reply - I thought that would fix it but it
made no difference at all...I changed it in 2 places in the file,
but nothing.

Any thoughts?

How about the same situation with the path to the
AC_RunAcviveContent.js.

It's the same no matter what the path is:

%26lt;script src=''Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js''

type=''text/javascript''%26gt;%26lt;/script%26gt;So maybe try puting
the / in front of

Scripts for %26lt;script src=''/Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js''

type=''text/javascript''%26gt;%26lt;/script%26gt;In firefox, it's
showing an error

''AC_FL_Runcontent is not defined''Timm''iwics2''

Hey I think you're getting closer, made the changes and at
least now there's the space where the Flash file is supposed to be
on all pages...it's still not showing though except strangely on
one page - as from the first post -
http://www.enhancedwireless.net/FBform.shtml

Almost there - thoughts?

Thanks much

Well, alright - it's working now - thanks for the help - I
added the / in front of all 4 TopNav's not just TopNav.swf and it
works - thank you

Now I wonder why my blue highliting is gone from my
Technology sub menus?
