Studio 8 Software licenses

My boss is talking about buying Studio 8 so we can do more
graphics work and update our website ourselves. WE are in
disagreement on how many computers we will be able to install on
and use. I think we will get two licenses and he thins one. Does
anyone know for sure the answer. Also I have a MAC at home and work
on PC in the office. Will I be able ot install at home and work on
the same license? Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks

You can install on two boxes *IF* and only if you are the
sole user on

either. You cannot have two separate users.

I don't think Studio 8 is even available any more. I would
recommend going with one of the CS3 suites, as you can get Acrobat,
Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator also, which is a sweet deal. Add
up the costs of buying each program separately, and it's much
cheaper to go with the suites, even if you only use the majority of
the programs occasionally.

As for licensing, you can buy one license and install it on 2
computers, so long as you are only using one at a time (say a
desktop for working in the office and a laptop for working while
traveling). How big is your company? How many computers do you
have?
